A highly interactive training workshop addressing 24 management related topics with specific case studies from microfinance institutions from the region and across the world. Practice and Theory are integrated into the discussions and weave across the multitude of nuances that face all levels of management at microfinance institutions.
The participants: this is a management level workshop mainly targeting all units at MFI’s and other financial institutions offering micro financial products and services; this would include operations, finance, human resource and research & development units. The discussions and the curricula are beneficial for both senior and middle level management teams.
The trainers: the workshop will be facilitated by three Sanabel / ILO certified trainers from the region with a vast experience in management, training, operations and financial implications on the performance of the institutions, and the sector at large.
The curricula, the participants and the trainers will engage in discussions, group work, cases studies and analyze the inputs, as well as process the outputs in a manner that offers them solutions that they can adopt when they go back to their institutions.
The workshop is divided into 5 sections covering the following main themes; 1) Management of Financial Institutions; 2) Markets and Marketing; 3) Risk Management; 4) Organizational Architecture of MFIs and 5) Improved Efficiency and Productivity of MFIs. Each includes 4-5 modules addressing specific topics in depth.
